A total of 67 players set off in the morning in dry weather with sunny intervals and a steady, not too great a wind.

The Moor Hall Golf course was in excellent condition and it seemed that everyone thoroughly enjoyed their day's golf over 18 holes.

Supper was attended by 71 members and friends and the Club Captain, Cannon Frank Longbottom joined James in the prize giving at the end of supper.

The benefit of BITA's Social Activities

BITA focuses firmly on the economic, technical, safety and legislative issues concerning its members. However, BITA also keeps sight of the essential social aspect of any industry, and every year brings together industry members (and their guests) in settings such as the BITA Ball and Golf Day, where business can blend naturally with pleasure.
