As part of its remit to promote efficiency and safety in the use of industrial truck products, BITA publishes a whole host of informative documents that span an extraordinary range of subject areas.
Among the most valuable and widely used BITA publications are the renowned pocket-sized safety booklets, which represent a distillation of over 50 years’ wisdom in the safe and efficient operation of industrial trucks. Currently there are four titles available covering the full range of industrial truck applications, including Rough Terrain Telescopic Handlers. BITA’s Technical Policy Committee (TPC) engages with international standard-setting bodies such as BSi, CEN, ISO and IEC to help maintain and extend best practice in industrial truck design, operation and maintenance. As part of its mission to help manufacturers and operators keep abreast of the latest technical developments, BITA’s regular Guidance Notes distil all relevant information and details into unified, accessible documents that may be filed for reference.
