BITA, the British Industrial Truck Association, held its 2010 Golf Day at Moor Hall Golf Club on 14 September 2010.
James Clark, BITA Secretary General, comments: “A total of 46 players set off in the morning in dry weather which changed to wind and heavy showers then clearing to a fine evening! The Moor Hall Golf course was in excellent condition and it seemed that everyone thoroughly enjoyed their day’s golf over 18 holes. Supper was attended by 45 members and friends and their previous year’s Club Captain, Canon Frank Longbottom joined James in the prize-giving at the end of supper. The BITA President Tim Waples also joined everyone for supper.
“As a new departure the golfers donated a total of £250 to a deserving charity – Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice in North Aston.
“We look forward to returning to the beautiful Moor Hall Club venue for another memorable day out on 13th September 2011.”
